Christmas Memory
Yes, there are reindeer, and Santa has a sleigh. On Christmas mornings, the hot chocolate, cookies, and carrots we left by the tree were always consumed, with cookie and carrot crumbs remaining as if the snacks had been eaten hastily. But one Christmas morning after a fresh snowfall, the kids went out onto the deck and noticed sleigh tracks and hoof marks on the roof of our house. Proof that Santa and his reindeer sleigh had been there in the night!
What are some of your Christmas memories?
Where reindeer live, besides the North Pole
Reindeer exist in northern Scandinavia, northern Asia, Alaska, Canada, and Greenland. In North America, they are called caribou. Read more details on Wonderopolis. Stories that take place in Canada will sometimes talk about caribou herds.
