Welcome Back, Leslie Hodgins!

Today on Where Are They Now? we welcome back Leslie Hodgins, entrepreneur, mobile registered massage therapist (RMT), certified fitness coach, and soon-to-be published author.

Interview with Leslie Hodgins

Leslie Hodgins

I’ve always loved to write. And recently it’s become an obsession. I finished my book earlier this year and will hopefully have it submitted for publishing for 2018.  I’m also a travelling RMT and certified fitness coach. Earlier this year, I started my own website, www.lesliehodginsonline.com. I make customized fitness routines for people around the world, and I hope to write a book on it as well. I’m also a full-time mom of two boys.

I don’t have any books published yet; however, I’ve got two finished novels ready for submission and I’m currently working on a third. I will be attending Words in the Park on Sept 30, 2017.

Leslie lives in Edmonton, Alberta.

Interview with Leslie Hodgins, Author and RMT (August 2016)

Speaking with Leslie Hodgins

What was your most significant accomplishment over the past year? Discuss.

My most significant achievement this year would have to be stepping up and creating my own website. Just taking that plunge and going for it.

Watch for the August issue of Leslie’s newsletter. You can sign up on her site (link above in her bio).

What was your greatest obstacle?

My greatest obstacle was dealing with months of not having a story idea in mind. After 6 years of ideas and writing, there were a few months where I had no muse and no idea how to deal with that. But, thankfully, a month ago, I got a story idea and have been able to start writing again.

What are you most proud of?

I guess I’m most proud of not giving up. A lot of things have changed for me this year. July has been a big month of change and clarity. But I kept at it and made dreams happen.

What are your goals or upcoming projects?

Goals: I’m releasing a new product on my site, and I’m hoping to get my first book in for submission to be published in 2018. On September 30, 2017, I’ll be introducing my upcoming books at Words in the Park, Sherwood Park, Alberta.

What special thing about yourself would you like to share with readers?

Something special . . . I guess that I’m just a regular mom that keeps going, keeps doing what I can to create the life my family deserves. I’m not willing to settle and hope things work out. I make stuff happen!
