You voted, and the winner is … Actually, there are two.
MercyMe’s God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen was leading right up until December 30th, with Pentatonix’s Little Drummer Boy coming in 2nd place and all other songs that were voted for tying for 3rd.
However, we now have a tie for 1st place: MercyMe and Pentatonix (Day 1 and Day 7, respectively), with 3 votes each.
12 other songs received one vote each, which qualifies them all for a 2nd-place tie.
Of the 28 songs I posted, 14 received votes–that’s 50%! Pretty good odds, I’d say!
Thank you for listening to Countdown to Christmas 2016: Today’s Christmas Song series, and thank you for casting your vote.
Wishing you a happy new year!

I was pleased about MercyMe’s God Rest Ye. As a Christmas classic, that song was low on my list until I heard what this band did with it. It was a good hook, wasn’t it?
I knew Pentatonix would rate high. But I’m pleasantly surprised that so many other songs received a vote.

MercyMe is what started it all. When you posted that one, I was on board for the rest of the days.
