Day 24: Today’s Christmas Song — For Christmas Eve

It’s Christmas Eve!

Wishing you a happy Christmas with one of my favourite bands and Christmas videos that I’ve been saving especially for this day: Christmas Eve/Sarajevo [Timeless Version] (Carol of the Bells) by Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), Atlantic Records.

Intense! Feel the power and the magic. This one’s a heart squeezer.

If you recall, in Post 1 of this series I shared God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by MercyMe.

Here is another song by the same band that also carries a great deal of impact: Drummer Boy (posted by mercymeVEVO)–a carol as fitting for our Christmas Eve as the TSO song above.

After the midpoint, you’ll really feel the passion. Drop what you’re doing after 2:30 during the drumming and follow the guitars through the ritardando to the end: “Then… he smiled at me…” as “Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum” is taken over and finished by the guitars. Feel them pulse.

Have a peaceful night.
