Below is a link to the words I wrote to a well-known Christmas carol, Silver Bells, in honour of Nov. 27, 2014’s blizzard that brought deep snow and -35°C wind chills.
I write these lyrics to keep my sanity during winter weather, which I intensely dislike since it makes the simplest tasks exhausting–although you have to admit there’s an element of adventure.
By contrast, Nov. 27, 2016 has no snow on the ground (unusual) and sits at a balmy -1°C with a fog advisory. Go figure. *Shrug* Alberta, right?
